Rev. Douglas Clark
Director of Spiritual Life
As Director of Spiritual Life, Rev. Doug Clark offers compassionate, inclusive emotional and spiritual support to youth from many cultural, religious, and personal backgrounds. The Children’s Home works to build a safe and respectful environment where youth in our care are free to explore what matters to them: hope, identity, healing, and connection, always on a non-denominational level.
Support takes many forms: weekly church services, grief and loss support, mindfulness practices, encouragement during difficult transitions, and time for reflection and personal growth. We shape care around each child and their stage of development.
Within The Children’s Home, non-denominational spiritual care works alongside clinical, educational, and residential staff to support the emotional well-being and resilience of youth. Participation is always voluntary. Our care honors the beliefs, identities, and preferences of each child and family.
